Wabasha is:
- 90 minutes south of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota on Hwy 61;
- 90 minutes north of Lacrosse, Wisconsin on Hwy 35, then west on Hwy 25;
- 60 minutes east of Rochester, Minnesota on Hwy 63, then south on Hwy 61;
- 40 minutes south of Red Wing, Minnesota on Hwy 61;
- 60 minutes west of Eau Claire, Wisconsin on Hwy 37, to Hwy 85, to Hwy 25.
- In Minnesota, once near Wabasha on Hwy 61 take the Hwy 60 east exit. Hwy 60 becomes Pembroke Ave; continue straight ahead on Pembroke and go a half-block past downtown where you will reach the Mississippi River. The National Eagle Center is located on the banks of the Mississippi and enjoys spectacular views of the river and the Upper Mississippi River National Fish and Wildlife Refuge, as well as wildlife, boat and barge traffic passing under nose.
In Wisconsin take Hwy 25 in Nelson over the Interstate Bridge to Wabasha. Turn left at 4th Grant Blvd and go two blocks to the stop sign at Pembroke. Turn left on Pembroke 3 blocks to the River and THE National Eagle Center.
